The All-American Minimalist wallet is made entirely from American pieces. The bison leather is American bison tanned in America. And the thread is from Maine Thread Company. It’s one of the few thread companies left in America. I came up with this design when I first started leather working because all of my credit cards kept cracking in a traditional bi-fold. The photos here show the wallet with ten cards. However, there is room for up to another ten.

The All-American is made in my Montana workshop by yours truly.

Bison leather is stronger than traditional cowhide, but it does have some extra “character.” There can be all sort of fun grain, scratches, and marks that come with a bison hide. And these wallets don’t try to hide it. If you prefer a cleaner or funkier wallet, contact me. I cannot guarantee that I will have one in stock, but I can always look.

Note: I intentionally use “bison” because there are a lot of leather products made from “buffalo” that is, in fact, “water buffalo.”
