The Poppy is also August’s birth flower. This bag is every bit as dreamy as the title suggests. It’s made of a soft, lightly pebbled, warm gray cow leather. Each Poppy is hand cut from cherry red elk leather with the soft suede side out. Then each piece was beaded with vintage (100 yr old) Venetian seed beads. The bag style is like a bucket with shorter handle that fits neatly over your shoulder or the crook of the arm. Its intended to mimic the shape of a basket but in a very supple leather. Everything was hand stitched in forest green. Reinforced bottom, antique brass rings, and feet. Snap button closure at top. Lined in red pigsuede. Bag measures 8”(at bottom) - 11(at top) x 4” wide x 8” tall. Handle has an 8” drop to the top of the bag.
